Welcome to fun ways to use math at home, school and even in your community. Are you talking math at home? Do you use the math vocabulary that you learn in school? Let's practice!! Start reviewing by discussing some of math vocabulary that you have been using in school. Next, try to use the math words in every day conversations. You can even create acronyms for the math vocabulary. To create an acronym of a math word, use the letters of the vocabulary to create a phrase. Try to use related math words to describe the math terminology. For example, you can describe geometry by saying... Geometry Equals Obtuse triangles Measurements Equilateral triangles Transformations Right angles Y-axis Reading is FUNdamental in Math Too!Looking for a great book to read?
